PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - McDaniel College women's lacrosse senior
Kat Thayer scored the 100th goal of her career, highlighting a 20-6 road win over St. Joseph's (L.I.) on Saturday.
The Green Terror (5-3) have won four-straight overall and four in-a-row on the road after scoring their most goals since March 23, 2024 in a 24-6 win at Bryn Mawr.
Thayer finished with five goals, three assists, eight points, two ground balls, two caused turnovers, and six draw controls. She scored her 100th career goal with 6:50 remaining in the fourth quarter off an assist from senior
Charlotte Alexander.
Thayer became the 19th player in program history to score 100 career goals.

McDaniel scored six of the game's first seven goals, including two by Thayer, to take a 6-1 lead with 12:43 left in the second quarter.
The two teams would net two goals each to end the half as the Green Terror maintained its five-goal advantage at halftime, 8-3.
The visitors scored the first four goals of the second half and seven of 10 in the third quarter as they built a commanding 15-6 lead after three. They then scored five unanswered goals in the fourth, outscoring the Golden Eagles 12-3 in the second half en route to its largest win of the season.
McDaniel tied its season high with 42 shots while limiting St. Joseph's (0-5) to just 13. The Green Terror also won a season-high 15 draw controls. Sophomore
Gracie Nash totaled three ground balls, two caused turnovers, and two draw controls.

The Green Terror continue their three-game road trip on Wednesday, when they travel to Greensboro, N.C. to take on Guilford. Opening draw is set for 3 p.m.
