COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Led by four wins from seniors Romeo Tsai and Kaden Bryan, the No. 25 McDaniel College men's wrestling team posted three wins, including a victory over No. 14 Castleton at the Manganaro Duals hosted by Ursinus on Saturday.

The Green Terror (5-4) posted a 3-1 record, dropping their opener against Alvernia 27-18 before winning their final three in convincing fashion, finishing the day with a 30-14 win over Castleton who is ranked at No. 14 in the NWCA Dual Team Top 25.

Tsai went 4-0 with three falls at 125 pounds, improving his season record to 18-5, including 7-2 in dual matches. He has 12 bonus-point wins, highlighted by seven falls.

Tsai began his day with a fall in just 33 seconds against Alvernia's Rocco Monteferrante before posting another first period fall over Trinity's Alex Schaeublin who is ranked sixth in Region 1. He recorded his third fall in 5:25 over Southern Maine's Carter Noble and finished his day with a 10-9 decision over Avi Berg of Castleton.

Bryan also went 4-0, posting three bonus point wins with two falls and a tech fall at heavyweight. He is now 17-5 this season and 7-2 in dual matches with 12 falls, the second-most on the team.

Bryan opened with a 12-7 decision over Alvernia's Owen Reber before recording back-to-back falls against Trinity's Nick Ebrahimi and Southern Maine's Jason Canavan. He closed his day with a 21-6 tech fall in 5:28 over Jamel Johnson of Castleton.

Four wrestlers posted three wins for McDaniel, including seniors Thomas Monn and Andre Allen, junior Alex Taylor, and first-year Andrew Yuen. 

Monn went 3-0 with three falls at 149 pounds and improves to 23-0 this season, including 8-0 in duals with a team-leading 13 falls. He now has 125 career wins, one shy of tying the program record held by Brock Glotfelty '11. Monn is now 125-11 and 56-1 in dual matches.

Yuen also went 3-0 at 133 pounds with a fall and tech fall.

Taylor and Yuen each went 3-1 with Allen recording two falls at 157 pounds and Taylor posting two falls and one tech fall at 184 pounds.

McDaniel returns to action next Saturday, Jan. 17 at Marymount (VA) for a 1 p.m. match with the Saints.
