WAYNESBORO, Pa. - McDaniel College men's golf junior 
Charlie Dolan carded a 1-under par 71 on Saturday to move into third place after two rounds at the Centennial Conference Men's Golf Championship hosted by Waynesboro Country Club.
The Green Terror totaled a second-round 296, four strokes lower than Friday's first round and their best since a 295 in the second round of the 2018 championship. They remain in fourth place with a 596, two strokes behind Swarthmore. Gettysburg and Franklin & Marshall both moved into first place and are tied at 585.
Gettysburg's Patrick Kilcoyne holds the individual lead through 36 holes with a 142, one stroke ahead of Franklin & Marshall's Wayne He. Dolan and Dickinson's Collin McMahon-Shea are tied for third at 144.
Dolan and McMahon-Shea turned in the best score in the second round. Dolan totaled five birdies, nine pars, and four bogeys. He shot a three-under par 33 on the front nine, highlighted by three consecutive birdies on holes five through eight. He was four-under through 12 holes, but was three-over on the final five holes.
Junior 
Sean Kelly moved up one spot into seventh following a 73 for the second-straight day. He had three birdies, 11 pars and four bogeys. He shot an even-par 36 on the front nine and a one-over par 37 on the back.
Senior 
Matt Messenger fell two spots to 18th after a seven-over par 79. He is tied with junior 
Ethan Crabb with a 154. Crabb moved up 10 spots from Friday as he shaved six strokes off his opening round with a two-over par 74. He was one-under par on the front nine with three birdies.
Senior 
Hogan Schulze improved two places to 23rd with a six-over par 78.
Sunday's final round gets underway at 7:30 a.m.
