UPPERCO, Md. - McDaniel College men's golf freshman
Jack Manfre finished three-under par with a career-low 68 to earn low medalist honors in the Stevenson Spring Invitational on Monday at Piney Branch Golf Club.
The B team totaled a 313 which was the fifth-best score among the 12 teams. Dickinson's A team won the event with a 297 while the host Mustangs finished second with a 302. Catholic finished third with a 306 and Dickinson's B team came in fourth with a 311.
Manfre is the first Green Terror to earn low medalist honors since
Charlie Dolan at the Gettysburg Spring Shootout on April 21, 2024 at Penn National Golf Club.
Manfre carded seven birdies and seven pars and was three-under par through the first six holes after totaling four birdies, one par, and one bogey. He shot a two-under par 34 on the front nine and a one-under par 34 on the back nine. His previous career best round was a 74 set in the Northeast Elite at Williamsport Country Club on Sept. 28.

Sean Kelly also turned in a career low with a seven-over par 78. He finished with one birdie on the par-4, 378-yard first hole and nine pars. He bettered his previous career low by eight strokes, besting his 86 in the McDaniel Spring Invitational at The Bridges Golf Club on March 30.

Braden Paris finished 30th with a 10-over par 81, totaling two birdies and seven pars.

Chase Oatman was the third player to post a new career low for McDaniel as he had an 86, one stroke better than his mark at the Hood Fall Invitational on Sept. 3. He had nine pars.

JT Krynock rounded out the five individuals for the Green Terror with an 88. He totaled one birdie on the first hole and eight pars.
McDaniel returns to action on Friday, April 25 in the opening round of the 2025 Centennial Conference Men's Golf Championships at Waynesboro Country Club.
