Jake Kegley posted a win to gain a point for the McDaniel College men's tennis team in a road match against Penn State Abington on Sunday.
Kegley partnered with Sophomore
Conner Neal at No. 1 doubles with a 6-3 defeat before posting an impressive 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles to give the Green Terror (3-10)Â their first point of the day. Â
Senior
Quinn Dietsche had a hard-fought match at No. 3 with a close first set. He posted a 7-5 loss and came short during the second set with a 6-4 loss. Dietsche was partnered with senior
Parth Shah at No. 2 doubles where they lost 6-3. Â
Junior
Justin Edwards gave the Green Terror their second point of the day with an 8-4 victory at No. 6 singles. Â
Before Edwards his win, he was partnered with Senior
Drew Ryder at No. 3 doubles where they came up short with a 6-1 loss. Â
The Green Terror returns to action home on the Warfield Tennis courts to take on Dickinson on April 2nd with a start time of 4 pm.
