WESTMINSTER, Md. – The McDaniel College men's tennis team fell in a home match on Wednesday losing to Dickinson 7-0 from the Warfield Tennis Courts.
Senior
Drew Ryder beat Aidan MacIntosh in set two of his No. 5 singles match, eventually falling in the third set to drop the match, 6-2, 4-6 and 10-6.
Sophomore
Connor Neal and junior
Justin Edwards each lost in narrow defeats, with Neal falling in No. 2 singles to Drew Allen 6-0, 6-3 and Edwards falling to Ryan Whiting in No. 6 singles 6-1, 6-3.
Junior
Jake Kegley fell to Lucas Bogle in No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-2 while senior
Quinn Dietsche lost to Eddy Chow in No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-1.
In No. 2 doubles, senior
Parth Shah and Dietsche lost to Chow and Florian Anderson, 6-2. Edwards and Ryder fell in No. 3 doubles to Whiting and MacIntosh, 6-2.
The Green Terror (3-11) return to the court on Apr. 5 in a road match against Neumann beginning at 1 pm.
