WESTMINSTER, Md. – First-year
Alyssa Hain had a win and runner-up finish to lead the McDaniel College women's swimming team in a tri-meet against Hood and St. Mary's (Md.) inside Harlow Pool on Saturday.
The Green Terror (2-8) defeated the Blazers, 62-33, but fell to the Seahawks, 69-26.

Eleanor Virgilio opened the day's events with a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:06.45.
Hain picked up the team's first win in the 100-yard individual medley, clocking in at 1:08.64.
Wolf finished second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.07 seconds. Virgilio finished in third by only four tenths of a second at 28.11 seconds.
Bouwmeester had a strong showing in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing second at 1:01.47 while Otero was runner-up in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:09.01.
Hain collected a time of 2:31.11 in the 200-yard individual medley to place second. She later came in third in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:20.37.

Lilly-Anne Higgins concluded the day's events with a time of 4:22.46 in the 400-yard freestyle relay, picking up a second-place finish.
The Green Terror are scheduled for a road meet against Stevenson at the McDonogh School on Saturday. Jan. 17 at 2:30 p.m.
