ALTOONA, Pa. - The McDaniel College women's swimming team fell in a road meet with Penn State Altoona 128-75 on Saturday.

Yente Bouwmeester,
Alyssa Hain, and sophomore
Kaylie Wolf started the day's events with a win in the 200-yard medley relay, collecting a final time of 2:03.61.
Hain later took another win in the 200-yard individual medley and a second place finish the 100-yard freestyle, clocking in with times of 2:31.54 and 1:00.31 respectively.
Senior
Mackenzie Skelton placed third in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 13:26.34 and second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:14.48.
Wolf earned second place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.93 seconds while Bouwmeester notched a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, just two seconds behind teammate Hain.
Otero finished second in the 100-yard backstroke, hitting the wall at a final time of 1:08.72. First-year
Jazlyn Sivak notched a third-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle at 7:31.91.
The team finished the day's events with a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, with Otero, Skelton, Bouwmeester and sophomore
Eleanor Virgilio collecting a final time of 1:56.41.
McDaniel will travel to Ursinus next Saturday in a conference meet with the rival Bears. The meet will begin at 1 p.m.
