WESTMINSTER, Md. – Three seniors were honored on Senior Day for the McDaniel College field hockey team in a 2-0 loss to Ursinus on Saturday to conclude the team's season.

Jayda Washburn received a pregame ceremony on Don R. Rembert Field at Gill Stadium. Graduate Student
Justice Washburn also received recognition in her final game for the Green Terror (5-13, 1-9).
McDaniel opened the match with two early penalty corners in the first two minutes of play, resulting in shots from sophomore
Charley Noah, junior
Kelsey Jennings and sophomore
Anna Buyse, two of which were blocked. The Bears (9-8, 5-5) cashed in at the 10:44 mark to take an early 1-0 lead.
Ursinus scored again just under five minutes into the second quarter to extend the lead to 2-0. Noah took four shots in just over a minute but could not convert on any, and after a flurry of penalty corners late in the quarter Ursinus took its 2-0 lead into halftime.
Junior
Lora Scarangello notched three saves in the third quarter to keep the Bears at bay. Following two green cards issued to the visitors in the fourth, Noah took two more shots near the end of the game but couldn't cash in, giving Ursinus a 2-0 win.
Noah totaled nine shots and two shots on goal while Jennings, Buyse and sophomore
Samira Morgan all took one shot each. Scarangello played all 60 minutes in the cage and recorded eight saves on 18 shots faced. The team's 11 penalty corners tied for a season-high in conference play.
