LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall used an 11-goal run to end the first half and begin the second as the fifth-ranked Diplomats posted a 20-5 victory over the McDaniel College women's lacrosse team Wednesday at Shadek Stadium.
The Green Terror (6-5, 1-2 CC) suffered their first loss in the last three road games and just their second in five away games this season.

Emma Legacy led McDaniel with one goal, one ground ball, two caused turnovers and four draw controls.

Emma Miller had three goals to record her fifth-straight hat-trick and her ninth in 11 games this season. She now has 48 this season, moving her into 16th on the program's single-season goals list, tying her with Amy Bittinger who also had 48 in 2000.
Miller also moved into ninth-place on the program's career goals list with 130, moving past Emily Brownawell who had 128 from 2015-18 as well as Paige Messersmith who had 129 from 2010-13 and Jodi Wagner who had 129 from 1994-97.
The Diplomats (8-2, 3-0 CC) scored the game's first five goals before unassisted tallies by Miller and sophomore
Kat Thayer cut the deficit to three with 7:33 remaining in the first quarter.
However, F&M would score the next 11 unanswered goals, outscoring the visitors 5-0 in the second quarter, to take a 16-2 advantage with 11:42 to play in the third. Lane Lambeth, Madison Bray and Lauren Pittman combined for eight points during the run. The trio finished with six goals and 14 points for the Diplomats.
Miller finished with three goals and four draw controls for the Green Terror while Thayer had one goal, two ground balls, one caused turnover and three draw controls. Meanwhile, freshman
Emily Conklin had two ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Caleigh Kohr made seven saves over the first three quarters while sophomore
Emma Wood had two fourth-quarter stops.
McDaniel hosts a Centennial Conference contest versus Haverford on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
