WESTMINSTER, Md. - Senior
Emma Miller totaled eight points, but SUNY Brockport scored the last three goals over the final seven minutes to edge out a 14-13 victory over the McDaniel College women's lacrosse team Saturday at Gill Stadium.
The Green Terror (4-3) fell for the first time in the last three games at home after being outscored 4-1 in the fourth quarter.
Miller finished with six goals and two assists and now has 150 career points in 46 games, moving her into 15th on the program's all-time scoring list past Kim Lowry '06 who had 143. She also has 114 career goals, moving her into a tie for 13th with Samantha Barbeito '16 on the school's all-time list.
Miller has scored at least five goals in five of the team's seven games this season.
The game featured six ties and three lead changes. Miller's sixth goal of the game and 31st of the season with 12:29 remaining in the fourth quarter gave McDaniel its largest lead, 13-11.
However, led by two goals from Alayna Foos, the Golden Eagles (3-3) scored the final the game's final three goals, including the game-winner from Foos with 2:41 remaining.
Foos scored the last two goals for the Golden Eagles, picking up a ground ball off her own free-position shot that was saved by sophomore
Caleigh Kohr to tie the game at 13-13 before winning the ensuing draw control and scoring the go-ahead tally.
Brockport out-shot thee Green Terror 9-2 in the final quarter while forcing five turnovers. Foos finished with five goals to lead the visitors.
The Golden Eagles scored four of the game's first five goals before McDaniel rallied to score six of the next eight, including three from Miller, to take its first lead, 7-6 with 2:29 left in the second quarter.

Emma Legacy and sophomore
Kat Thayer had three goals each for the Green Terror while Thayer added one assist. Miller had 11 draw controls while Legacy added two caused turnovers and two ground balls.
Kohr finished with five saves.
The Green Terror travel to Juniata on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. contest with the Eagles.
