GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Junior
Tori McArthur improved her time by 10 seconds in the 400 individual medley to to lead the McDaniel College women's swimming team on the third day of the Centennial Conference Swimming Championships hosted by Gettysburg.
The Green Terror are in eighth place with 94 points.
McArthur finished 20th with a time of 5:31.89, an improvement over her previous season best time of 5:41.28 set against Dickinson on Feb. 3.
Sophomore
Jane Walkinshaw led three consecutive McDaniel finishes in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking in with a new season best of 1:06.77 to finish 22nd. Freshman
Reagan Farris came in 23rd at 1:07.70, five seconds faster than her previous best while sophomore
Mackenzie Skelton finished 24th in a season best time of 1:12.44.
Freshman
Natalie Hutchinson finished 18th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a new season-best while freshman
Britney Ramirez-Valle posted a new mark in the 100-yard backstroke just ahead of freshman
Melissa Deedy.
The final day of the conference meet takes place Sunday with the prelims at 10 a.m. before concluding with the finals at 6 p.m.
