GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Junior Amanda Thompson posted a season-best time in the 500-yard freestyle to lead the McDaniel College women's swimming team on day two of the 2024 Centennial Conference Swimming Championships.

The Green Terror are in eighth place with 68 points.

Thompson finished 21st with a time of 5:29.55, three seconds under her previous best against Dickinson on Feb. 3.

Junior Tori McArthur completed the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2:37.31 while freshman Reagan Farris finished the 50-yard freestyle in 27.49 seconds.

In Friday night's finals, Thompson, McArthur, Farris and sophomore Jane Walkinshaw earned points in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:57.24.

The third day of the conference championship on Saturday begins with the prelims at 10 a.m. followed by the finals at 6 p.m.
