WESTMINSTER, Md. – The McDaniel College women's swimming team earned its first win of the season on Saturday, defeating Moravian 65-28 at home.
The Green Terror (1-8) won the opening event of the day, taking the 200-yard medley relay. The team of freshman

Amanda Thompson scored a win in the 1000-yard freestyle, taking first at 12:41.51. Thompson notched another win in the 100-yard individual medley, winning by over six seconds with a time of 1:09.17. Junior
Jane Walkinshaw beat out senior teammate
Tori McArthur to win the 100-yard butterfly, clocking in with a time of 1:10.85.
Skelton earned a narrow victory in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in first by a single second. Thompson and Walkinshaw took first and second in the 500-yard freestyle with times of 5:41.20 and 6:11.97 respectively. Freshman
Kaylie Wolf earned her first win of the day in the 100-yard breaststroke, winning with a time of 1:26.84, less than a second ahead of the second-place finisher for the Greyhounds (0-4).
The relay team of Leeson, Hutchinson, Ramirez and sophomore
Eleanor Virgilio rounded out the scoring with a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The four collected a final time of 2:03.99.
The Green Terror travel to Lancaster, PA to take on Centennial Conference rival Franklin & Marshall for their next meet on Dec. 6 at 5 pm.
