WESTMINSTER, Md - The Green Terror fell to Ursinus 76-44 and Juniata 86-36, in a tri-meet at home.
Junior Jane Walkinshaw swam a personal best 2:11.97 in the 200 free. Sophomore Eleanor Virgilio placed fifth with a time of 2:32.01. Walkinshaw placed third in the 50 free with a time of 26.95. Sophomore Kaylie Wolf placed fifth with a time of 28.27. Walkinshaw also placed fourth in the 100 fly with a time of 1:10.80. Senior Tori McArthur placed sixth with a time of 1:19.89.
Senior Amanda Thompson placed second in the 1000 free with a time of 11:34.91. Freshman Mackenzie Leeson placed fourth with a time of 15:33.34. Thompson placed second in the 100 back with a time of 1:07.78. Thompson also placed second in the 500 free with a time of 5:44.32. Virgilio placed fifth with a time of 7:12.28.
The 200 free relay team of Wolf, Walkinshaw, Virgilio, and Thompson placed second with a time of 1:52.65. The 200 medley relay of McArthur, freshman Georgia Cole, junior Mackenzie Skelton, and Wolf placed third with a time of 2:19.33.
In the 200 IM Cole placed third with a time of 2:41.09. Skelton placed fourth with a time of 2:45.89. Skelton placed fourth in the 200 fly with a time of 2:54.83. Skelton also placed fourth in the 200 back with a time of 2:40.85. McArthur placed sixth with a time of 2:48.54.
Cole placed fourth in the 200 breast with a personal best 3:06.43. Leeson followed in fifth with a time of 3:34.62. Cole placed fifth in the 100 breast with a time of 1:27.48. McArthur followed in sixth with a time of 1:29.58. Sophomore Natalie Hutchinson placed seventh with a time of 2:07.07.
Wolf placed fifth in the 100 free with a time of 1:05.72. Virgilio took sixth with a time of 1:08.63. Hutchinson swam 1:37.45 to place eighth. Junior Britney Ramirez followed with a time of 1:44.14.
The McDaniel College Swim Team will be back in action on November 16th against Stevenson at McDonogh School.
