Lora Scarangello made a career-high 11 saves in a 5-0 loss at Swarthmore in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams.
The Green Terror (2-5, 0-1 CC) totaled three shots and three penalty corners in the fourth quarter.
Scarangello totaled double-digit saves for the first time in her seven game career, making eight in the second half as she faced 11 shots.
The Garnet (5-2, 1-0 CC) scored what proved to be the game-winning goal just 7:20 into the first quarter when Anna Stancofski scored off a rebound in front.
Swarthmore led 3-0 at halftime after scoring two goals in the final 10 minutes of the second quarter.
Scarangello stopped all four shots she faced in the third quarter to keep McDaniel within three.
The Green Terror recorded their first shot of the game in the fourth quarter and recorded three shots and two penalty corners in a span of three minutes, but Cassandra Conklin made all three saves to preserve the shutout.
The Garnet tallied its final two goals just 1:34 apart, securing the second with 5:21 remaining to provide the final margin.
