WESTMINSTER, Md. - The McDaniel College women's lacrosse team took an early first quarter lead, but Franklin & Marshall scored 10-straight as the 10th-ranked Diplomats posted a 19-3 win Wednesday at Gill Stadium.
The Green Terror (4-6, 1-2 CC) scored the game's first two goals just over a minute apart before Lydia Cassilly scored the first of her four first-quarter goals to help F&M built a 10-2 lead after one.
Cassilly had a hand in five of the Dips' 10 goals as she also assisted Sydney Lowe on the final goal of the quarter with 33 seconds remaining.

Emily Sheppard open the scoring only 1:02 into the contest with her 15th goal of the season before senior
Acadia Noll netted her 15th of the year to give McDaniel a two-goal lead with 12:49 left in the first quarter.
Franklin & Marshall (8-3, 3-0 CC) added four more second-quarter tallies to take a 14-2 halftime lead.
Sheppard, Noll and sophomore
Paris Conord scored goals for the Green Terror with Conord netting her seventh of the season on a free position with 3:58 to play in the third to end the Diplomats' 16-0 run.

Kayonna Cook led McDaniel with three caused turnovers and two ground balls while junior
Emma Miller had four draw controls, one ground ball and one caused turnover. Junior
Emma Legacy added three draw controls and two ground balls.
In goal, freshman
Caleigh Kohr had seven saves, including three in the first quarter and three in the fourth as she split time with senior
Astrid Jensen.
McDaniel begins a two-game road trip on Saturday when it heads to Haverford. Opening draw is set for noon.
