SWARTHMORE, Pa. - McDaniel College women's lacrosse junior Emma Miller totaled four goals, five points and 12 draw controls, but Swarthmore scored 10 of the game's first 11 goals en route to an 18-9 victory Saturday.

The Green Terror (4-8, 1-4 CC) out-shot the Garnet and won 27 of 31 draw controls, but could not overcome their early deficit.

With five points, Miller now has exactly 100 points in her career with 75 goals and 25 assists. She also has 246 career draw controls, just nine behind Lindsey Farrell for second place on the school's all-time list.

Meanwhile, senior Acadia Noll had four draw controls and now has 100 for her career, becoming the 11th player in program history to reach 100.

Swarthmore (9-3, 2-3 CC) led 4-0 after the first quarter before Miller scored just 35 seconds into the second off an assist from freshman Kat Thayer.

However, the Garnet scored six in-a-row before McDaniel netted its second to take a commanding 10-1 lead with 4:13 remaining.

Junior Gaby Kohr scored off an assist from Miller with 3:31 left, but Emma Holub scored her second goal of the game with just five seconds remaining to give Swarthmore an 11-2 halftime advantage. Holub scored five first-half points, adding three assists.

Miller scored twice in the third quarter as the Green Terror outscored the Garnet, 4-3, before Isabela Bloomquist scored back-to-back to start the fourth to give Swarthmore its largest lead, 16-6 with 11:21 to play.
