WESTMINSTER, Md. - Highlighted by wins from sophomore Romeo Tsai and junior Val Pryor, the McDaniel College men's wrestling team posted a 30-14 win over Division II Frostburg State Wednesday night inside the Gill Center.

The Green Terror (2-0), ranked 12th in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association Tournament Team rankings, improved their record to 6-2 in home dual matches the last two seasons.

Tsai opened the match with his second consecutive fall in just 1:43 at 125 pounds to improve to 13-6 this season while picking up his first dual meet victory.

With McDaniel holding a 23-8 lead through 174, Pryor sealed the win for the Green Terror when he edged out a 4-1 win in sudden victory over Nick McCarthy at 184. With the match tied at 1-1 at the end of regulation, Pryor scored a take down with two seconds remaining to secure his 12th win in 17 matches this season.

After the Bobcats (4-5) posted a tech fall at 133 to pull within one, 6-5, McDaniel won the next three-straight to extend its lead to 19-5. Freshman Connor Bollinger registered a fall at 141 before sophomore Thomas Monn posted a major decision at 149, picking up his 13th win of the season, tying him for the team lead with Tsai and junior Xavier Howard who followed with a 7-2 decision at 157.

Graduate student Dalton Pearl posted his ninth win and four by major decision at 174 pounds while senior Jaedyn Harris rebounded from his first loss of the season on Saturday with his first major decision to improve to 8-1 at 197.

The Green Terror return to action on Saturday when they host a tri-match with Marymount (Va.) and Messiah beginning at 4 p.m.
