Logan Marsh posted his first career 100-yard receiving game, but Dickinson scored 20 first-quarter points en route to a 40-20Â victory Saturday on Rembert Field at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium.
The Green Terror (0-6, 0-3 CC) were limited by three turnovers, but did manage to rush for a season-high 159 yards and have its second different receiver total over 100 yards receiving.
Marsh had six catches, also a career high, for 121 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown pass from freshman
Angel Granado Jr.
Granado also rushed for 87 yards while graduate student
Trent Gaskins added 64Â yards and one score.
Dickinson (5-1, 3-0 CC) scored on each of its first three possessions to take a 20-0 lead after the first quarter with quarterback Presley Egbers scoring on runs of 20 and five yards before Diante Ball struck from 78 yards out with 1:13 remaining.
The Red Devils needed just 10 plays and 4:32 to total 147 yards and three scores while converting a 51-yard interception return by James Basilli into their second touchdown.
Trailing 20-0, McDaniel broke through with 45 seconds left in the opening half as Gaskins scored on a 1-yard run that was setup by an interception by senior
Matt Carey deep in Dickinson territory.
However, the Red Devils struck on its first two possessions of the second half to extend their lead to 33-7. Ball scored on an 85-yard pass from Egbers on the second play of the half before adding a 63-yard touchdown run on the second play of the team's second drive.
Facing a 26-point deficit, the Green Terror responded just 21 seconds later as Granado connected with Marsh for an 80-yard strike to pull them within 33-14 with 10:50 to play in the third.
After the two teams traded punts, Dickinson capped a 6-play, 67-yard drive with a 14-yard run from Egbers, his third rushing touchdown of the game.
McDaniel provided the final margin when Gaskins scored on a 38-yard catch and run from Granado on the final play of the game after the defense forced a turnover on downs.
Ball totaled 267 yards of total offense, including 163 yards rushing and 104 receiving while Egbers was 10-of-18 passing for 213 yards and one score.
Granado threw for a career-high 224 yards and two touchdowns.

Jevin Tranquillo and
Kori Bryant led the defense with six tackles apiece while Carey had five tackles, one interception and two pass defended.
The Green Terror continue their two-game home stand next Saturday, Oct. 21 when they host Franklin & Marshall for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
