WESTMINSTER, Md. - A 9-0 run midway through the fourth quarter carried Dickinson to a 52-46 victory over the McDaniel College women's basketball team Tuesday night on Rebecca L. Martin Court.
The Green Terror (2-4, 1-1 CC) scored 10 of the final 14 points of the third quarter to tie the game at 34-34 before a jumper by freshman
Elaina Beckett tied the game for the second time at 36-36 with 8:37 remaining in the fourth.
Led by five points from Kate Montgomery, the Devils (2-2, 1-1 CC) scored nine-straight points while holding McDaniel to 0-of-7 shooting. Montgomery also had two blocks during the run.
The Green Terror cut the deficit to five with 59 seconds left, but missed their final three attempts from the floor.

Josey Klingenberg totaled five points, nine rebounds, six assists and five steals.
Tuesday marked the fourth game out of six this season that McDaniel held its opponent under 60 points.
Following the Thanksgiving break, the Green Terror will host Gettysburg next Tuesday, Nov. 29. Tip-off is at 6 p.m. and is part of a doubleheader with the men's team.
