THE REST OF THE STORY

Layups from David Smoot III (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore City College) and Dragan Hornatko (Baltimore, Md./Glenelg Country Day School) 20 seconds apart closed the deficit to 20-10 with 9:49 on the clock but a 9-2 Fords countered pushed the lead to 17 with 7:33 remaining. • The Fords maintained a second-half lead between 19 and 22 points until Banadda was fouled on a 3-point attempt and drained all three free throws to put the hosts in front 63-39 with 6:44 to play for the largest lead of the game.
