Dickinson rallied from a double-digit halftime deficit to defeat McDaniel, 54-51.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• After Ryan Robinson got Dickinson on the board 55 seconds into the game, McDaniel went on a 9-0 run to go up seven with 15:38 showing. Kaelen Kanealey (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) bookended the run with baskets while Mike Wallace scored the five points in the middle. The Red Devils clawed back to tie the game at 11-all with 11:07 to play. Trailing 14-13, Carter Truby (Sykesville, Md./Century) hit two free throws with 9:34 remaining to spark another 7-0 run to back up six just 2:20 later. The lead swelled to 30-20 on a Wallace jumper with 1:32 showing. A Randy Shephard three-point play closed the deficit to seven before two Wallace free throws and a Dragan Hornatko (Baltimore, Md./Glenelg Country Day School) jumper in the final 40 seconds pushed the lead to 34-23 at the break.
• Trailing 37-28, Chris Bates hit a layup with 14:40 remaining in the second half to ignite an 8-0 burst that closed the deficit to one just 1:23 later A Wallace 3-pointer halted the run momentarily and helped the Green Terror extend the lead back to 44-38 midway through the half. The Red Devils, however, scored the next nine to take a three-point lead with 6:32 to play. Three Josh Sproul (Princess Anne, Md./Washington Academy) free throws tied the game at 47-all before Drew Haueisen hit two from the charity stripe of his own and reestablish the advantage with 4:12 to play. A Wallace jumper tied the game at 49-all with just 1:44 to play. A Jack Tierney 3-pointer at the other end put Dickinson back up three. Wallace drained two free throws with 1:04 to play but Robinson hit two free throws with 11.6 ticks remaining to make it a three-point game. McDaniel had a pair of attempts to tie the game but could not connect.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Dickinson picked up its second straight win after a victory over No. 11 Swarthmore on Saturday while snapping McDaniel's four-game winning streak.
• The Red Devils had a 44-34 edge on the glass.
