THE SKINNY
McDaniel all 14 events to defeat Gallaudet 157-49 in the final action of 2021.
THE LEADERS
• Emma Lindell (Frederick, Md./Frederick) won the 1000 free (12:55.21) and the 200 butterfly (2:46.16). She also led off the winning 200 free relay, which posted a time of 1:56.28 to cap her triple-win day.
• Amanda Thompson (Drexel Hill, Pa./Friends Central) was victorious in the 50 free (26.75 seconds), 500 freestyle (5:41.54), and the 200 IM (2:29.72). She also led off the winning 200 medley relay, which posted a time of 2:10.18.
• Ella Tomkins (Tikokino, Central Hawke's Bay/Mercury Bay Area) recorded a pair of individual win, touching first in the 200 free with a time of 2:10.72 and 100 fly with a time of 1:04.59. She was also a part of the winning 200 free relay to round out a three-win day.
• Abby Cook (Fredericksburg, Va./Chancellor) placed first in the 100 back with a time of 1:05.67. She was also a part of the winning 200 medley relay.
• Anna Petenbrink (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) touched first in the 200 back with a time of 2:53.63. She also anchored the winning 200 medley relay.
• Hannah Cehelsky (Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln Sudbury Regional) was first in the 100 free with a time of 1:00.05 and was also part of the winning 200 medley relay. She also finished second in the 500 free (5:53.57).
• Laura Midkiff (Westminster, Md./Westminster) won both the 100 and 200 breaststroke races with a times of 1:31.04 and 3:24.45, respectively. She was also on the winning 200 free relay.
• Erinkimber Cunnane (Cinnaminson, N.J.) rounded out the winning 200 free relay. She was also third in the 100 free with a time of 1:06.75.
FOR THE FOES
• Amelia Oliver finished second in the 50 free (29.62 seconds) and 100 free (1:06.36).
• Jaelynn King finished second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 17:08.71.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Ashley Farrington (Neptune, N.J./Neptune) finished second in the 200 free (2:11.15) and 50 free (27.59 seconds).
THE INSIDE STORY
• Anna Petenbrink posted a personal-best time of 2:53.63 in the 200 backstroke.
• Laura Midkiff posted a personal-best time time of 3:24.45 in the 200 breastsroke.
