Katie Klein went on a personal 4-0 run to close the deficit to one. Dickinson, however, countered with the next seven points to take a 21-17 lead with 8:10 showing. Trailing 24-23 after a Mallory Conroy (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) layup with 4:24 to play, Kremp hit a 3-pointer to spark an 11-5 close the quarter to give the hosts a 34-29 lead.
