THE LEADERS
• Josh Sproul (Princess Anne, Md./Washington Academy) led the Green Terror with a game-high 14 points to go with five rebounds and four assists.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• A Carter Truby (Sykesville, Md./Century) layup and two Josh Sproul free throws staked McDaniel to an early 4-0 lead. Dickinson, however, responded with the next eight points for an 8-4 advantage just 2:09 into the game. A Justin Glover 3-pointer in the corner – one of three triples in a 2-minute, 19-second span – stretched the Red Devil lead to 19-10 with 13:54 to play in the opening half. Trailing 29-19, Kaelen Kanealey (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) converted a three-play with 6:36 showing to spark an 11-0 run to take a one-point lead with 1:10 remaining. Brandon Wiercinski pulled up for a 3-pointer before McDaniel hit three free throws in the final seven seconds for a 33-32 edge at the break.
• Jack Tierney hit a 3-pointer out of the break to give the Red Devils the lead for good and spark the game-changing 13-4 run. A Travis Dobbins trey pushed the lead to 52-42 with 11:14 to play for the only double-digit advantage of the second half. Trailing 58-49, Chris McAboy canned a 3-pointer with 7:40 to play. Four straight points trimmed the deficit to 62-60 with 2:35 remaining – the first of three times the hosts drew to within two but each time Dickinson responded at the other end. Two Dobbins free throws in the final 15 seconds sealed the victory.

THE INSIDE STORY
• The Red Devils shot 62.5 percent in the second half to finish 26-for-51 for the game, including hitting 11 of 27 3-point attempts.
