McDaniel built a 33-24 halftime lead and kept Lycoming at arm's length in the second half to notch a 73-62 victory in the second day of the Crosstown Chalenge.

• Mike Wallace (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum School) led the Green Terror with 37 points.

• DeAundre Manuel led the Warriors with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Trailing 7-6, Mike Wallace hit a jumper with 14:19 showing in the first half to spark a 9-0 burst in which he contributed six straight. Lycoming closed to within 25-23 with 1:57 to play but Wallace canned a triple to spark an 8-1 close to the half for a 33-24 lead.
• Kaelen Kanealey (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) scored eight straight points to give McDaniel a 43-27 lead just 3:38 into the second half. The Warriors got within six three times in the final six minutes but each time Wallace responded, including with five straight points to turn a 64-58 edge with 2:13 to play into a 69-58 lead with 43 seconds remaining.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Mike Wallace's 37 points were the most by a Green Terror player since John Feldman scored 39 in 1976.
• Kaelen Kanealey finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
