McDaniel used a 45-31 second-half to defeat Penn College 77-57 in the opening game of the Crosstown Challenge and season opener for both teams.

• Mike Wallace (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum School) led the Green Terror with 25 points and three steals.
• Josh Arruda (Morrisville, Pa./Pennsbury) added 15 points.
• Chris McAboy (Martinsburg, W.Va./St. Maria Goretti [Md.]) chipped in 10 points in his McDaniel debut.

FOR THE FOES
• Corey Blackwell led the Wildcats with 13 points and eight rebounds.
• Max Jackowsky added 13 points.
• Obens Luxama chipped in 12.

• McDaniel shot 32 percent from the floor compared to 30 percent for Penn College.
