McDaniel's stingy defense held firm like it has done all season in the first half, but Juniata converted a corner at the start of the second half en route to a 2-0 win.

• Jonathan Mangione (Greer, S.C./JL Mann) anchored the Green Terror defense with nine saves.

• Emmet Young led the Eagles with a goal and an assist.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The Green Terror, led by Jonathan Mangione, kept the Juniata offense off the board in the first half but the hosts needed just one minute of play in the second half to get on the board. Emmet Young lined up a corner kick and placed off a leaping Henry Doherty, who headed it into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead.
• In the 64th minute, Young added a goal to his line and set the final margin after the Eagles withstood a late push by McDaniel.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Juniata edged McDaniel in both shots 13-7 and corner kicks, 4-2.
