THE SKINNY
McDaniel pulled away after early threats from Goucher in all three sets to close out a home tri-match with a 3-0 win.

THE LEADERS
• Regan Gefroh (Fort Collins, Colo./Fort Collins) led the Green Terror, anchoring the defense with 15 digs.
• Anna Jezerski (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) had her seventh double-double of the season with 15 kills and 10 digs.
• Nia Roberts (Walkersville, Md./Frederick) finished with a career-high 14 kills.

FOR THE FOES
• Elizabeth Bobo paces the Gophers with eight kills.
• Nicole Kovach tallied 19 assists.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Goucher took an early 4-3 lead in the first set but McDaniel responded quickly with Regan Gefroh and Nia Roberts each getting a pair of kills to regain control. From there, the Green Terror never looked back and won the first set, 25-19.
• The Gophers kept it close throughout the second set but Anna Jezerski and Gefroh each had a kill to close out a 25-21 victory.
• The Green Terror jumped out to an early 7-1 lead in the final set, forcing a Gopher timeout. Goucher responded in kind by scoring nine of the next 12 points to close to within one point. McDaniel came out of a timeout of its own. Am Elizabeth Bobo service ace tied the set at 15-all but Jezerski connected on three straight kills to close out the 25-20 win.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Brenna Campbell (Clarion, Pa./Carion Area) tallied 38 assists for McDaniel.
• Kathy Taveras (Columbia, Md./Howard) recorded eight digs and one ace.
