McDaniel, ranked eighth in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, got an early goal then sealed the win with two goals in a 5-minute, 10-second span late in second half for a 3-1 win at Elizabethtown.

• Ava Whisten broke up the shutout in the 76th minute for the Blue Jays.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Hannah Schepers (Port Deposit, Md./St. Mark's) finished a solo run just 10:42 into the game for an early 1-0 lead.
• In the 65th minute, Allison Storm (Abingdon, Md./Harford Tech) took a free kick from just outside the 18 and found Jessica Weinoldt to stretch the lead to 2-0.
• Just over five minutes later, a Storm corner kick found Elaina Kluttz (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson, who redirected it to Weinoldt for the 3-0 advantage.
• Ava Whisten broke up the shutout with a shot from the left side in the 76th minute.

• McDaniel finished with advantage of 20-7 in shots and 6-1 in corner kicks.
• The Hannah Schepers' first-half tally was the Green Terror's first since Sept. 25 at Bryn Mawr, snapping a stretch of 13 straight goals scored after halftime.
