THE REST OF THE STORY
• McDaniel controlled much of the first half but was unable to capitalize. The second half played out much the same as neither team could generate many quality chances.
• Both teams had chances in overtime but neither could convert. Both of Jonathan Mangione's saves came in the waning moments of the second overtime with the Blazers making one final push.
THE INSIDE STORY
• McDaniel finished with a 21-10 advantege in shots, including a 10-2 advantage in the second half. The Green Terror also had an 11-7 edge in corner kicks.
• It was the first tie for both teams in 2021.
• It was McDaniel's first scoreless deadlock since a draw with Washington (Md.) on Sept. 29, 2018.
