McDaniel took advantage of five forfeits and added a pair of pins in a 45-9 win over Thaddeus Stevens at the Mid-Winter Classic in Williamsport.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Nick Malinowski (Baltimore, Md./Boys' Latin School of Maryland) earned his second forfeit win of the day to stake McDaniel to an early 6-0 lead.
• Steven Pabon added his first-period fall before Ryker Eckenbarger (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) and Raymond Kable each won by forfeit at 141 and 149, respectively, for a 24-0 lead.
• Alexander LaVeck (Marriottsville, Md./McDonough) stretched the lead to 27-0 with a 12-9 victory at 157.
• Levi Blain got Thaddeus Stevens' first win of the day with his pin.
• Michael Bromley (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) and Tony Wuest (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) each earned forfeits around the Gabe Dennis fall for a 45-6 lead.
• Jimmie Zazzi rounded out the day with a 4-0 win at heavyweight to set the final margin.
