McDaniel and Penn College split the 10 bouts with five wins each three six-point wins helped the Green Terror secure a 24-22 win in the second round of the Mid-Winter Classic.

• Tony Wuest (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) led the Green Terror with a 20-second pin at 197.
• Ryker Eckenbarger (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) added a 6-minute, 17-second pin at 141.

• Ryan Bauer and Erik Schreck each recorded pins for the Wildcats.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Nick Malinowski (Baltimore, Md./Boys' Latin School of Maryland) staked the Green Terror to a 6-0 lead with a forfeit win at 125.
• Ryan Bauer drew Penn College even with a 59-second pin.
• After Ryker Eckenbarger's fall, Erik Schreck responded with a fall in 3:59 to draw the Wildcats even once again.
• Alexander LaVeck (Marriottsville, Md./McDonough) added a 6-1 win for McDaniel at 157 before Jason Penton responded with a 12-8 win of his own at 165 to level the match at 15-all.
• Michael Bromley (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) won 4-2 at 174 before Jared Mooney put Penn College in front 19-18 with a 13-4 major decision win at 184.
• Tony Wuest wasted no time for his Division III-leading 15th pin of the season and a 24-19 lead.
• Brendan McGinley notched just a 2-0 win at heavyweight to give McDaniel the win.
