• Behind baskets from three different Washington players, the hosts built a 19-13 advantage through the first 5:31 of the second quarter. • Trailing 25-20 midway through the third quarter, Liv Storer (Wangaratta, Victoria, Austrailia/Galen Catholic College) hit the second of two free throws to ignite a 12-0 run. Washington was limited to one field goal and three free throws in the quarter. Four different Green Terror players scored during the run that turned a five-point deficit into a seven-point lead.

A Lizzie Hudock layup just over a minute later trimmed the margin to one. Clinging to a 39-38 edge, Mallory Conroy hit a jumper with 3:29 remaining and contributed six points to key a 12-1 run over the next 2:42 to push the lead to 12 and seal the win.
