THE SKINNY STORY
Washington put together an 11-0 run late in the first half to build a 12-point lead en route to a 67-51 win over McDaniel.

THE LEADERS
Josh Sproul (Princess Anne, Md./Washington Academy) netted 16 points for the Green Terror.
Mike Wallace (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) led the way with 18 points.

FOR THE FOES
• Daniel Brown led the Shoremen with 20 points and seven rebounds.
• Dallas Marshall contributed 12 points and nine rebounds.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Five straight points from Josh Sproul staked McDaniel to a lead just 1:08 into the contest. Trailing 13-10, Alec Lewis hit Washington's third triple of the game to knot the game with 10:07 showing. After Che Colbert (Glen Burnie, Md./Broadneck) responded with a layup nearly a minute later, Lewis canned another trey for the hosts' first lead of the game, which they would not relinquish. Holding an 18-17 edge, an Austin Allen putback with 4:10 remaining in the first half started a game-changing 11-0 run that stretched the Shoremen lead to 29-17 with 89 seconds left in the first half. Quinn Kimmick (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) drained a 3-pointer on the other end to cut the deficit to single digits at the break.
• Trailing 35-24 on an Allen jumper with 17:19 remaining, Sproul countered with a jumper of his own to spark a 7-1 burst that trimmed the margin to five just 2:24 later. Washington pushed the lead back out to 10 before McDaniel closed to within 45-40 with 9:39 to play. Daniel Brown scored five straight points before layups from Sproul and Sam Beverly (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore City College) once again made it a six-point game with 8:01 remaining. That was as close as the Green Terror could get, however. After McDaniel made it a 57-48 game with 6:11 to play, the Shoremen scored 10 of the next 11 points before Wallace capped the game with a layup.

THE INSIDE STORY
Sam Beverly contributed six points and seven rebounds for the Green Terror.
• Mike Wallace has reached double figures in five of the last six games.
• Washington finished the game with a 42-30 rebounding advantage, including a 23-9 advantage on the glass in the second half.
