McDaniel scored in the 18th minute and made that lone goal stand in a defensive battle for a 1-0 win at Goucher.

• Jacob Wells (Hanover, Pa./South Western) scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season for the Green Terror.

• Cole Junkins made three saves in goal for the Gophers.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Jacob Wells finished a pass from Nick Starr (York, Pa./Central York) at the 17:52 mark on the Green Terror's second shot of the game.
• Neither team could muster much offense after that with the teams combined for just eight shots over the 90 minutes.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Each team took four shots. All four of the Green Terror's shots came in the first half while the Gophers had two shots in each half but only one on frame. All four of McDaniel's shots were on target.
