• Ethan Hartman opened the match with a 13-5 win to stake Washington and Lee to a 4-0 lead, earning the major on riding time.
• Ryker Eckenbarger (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) countered with a 5-0 win at 133 to close the margin to 4-3 before Isaiah Edmond (Waldorf, Md./North Point) added a 6-3 win at 141, giving the hosts a 6-4 advantage.
• Bryce Crew needed just 18 for a pin at 149 to put the Generals back in front, 10-6.
• Wade Bishop (Greensboro, Md./North Caroline) and Shane Conners traded major decisions. Bishop won 8-0 at 157 before Conners took a 13-1 win at 165.
• Alec Horne added a 4-0 win at 174 before Rexx Hallyburton won 10-3 at 184.
• Brad Bashman won by injury default at 197 before Clay Chadwick wrapped up the day with 4-minute, 10-second pin at heavyweight.
