McDaniel captured its fifth straight sweep to start the season, topping York (Pa.), 3-0. The Green Terror won the first set 25-19 before completing the sweep, 25-22 and 25-18.

• Marlowe Embry (San Jose, Calif./J.H. Pitman) led the way with seven kills, five aces, 14 digs and four blocks.
• Emma Lorenzen (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) chipped in seven total blocks.
• Allie Lugar (Wilmington, Del./Dupont) added six kills and four blocks.

FOR THE FOES
• Brooke Krebs recorded 10 kills to lead the Spartans.
• Alexis Harbold steadied the defense with 14 digs.
