THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel scored three goals in the second half to break open a 1-0 game and top Catholic, 4-0.

THE LEADERS
Hannah Schepers (Port Deposit, Md./St. Mark's) netted all three second-half goals.
Maddie Schwartz (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) chipped in a goal and an assist.

FOR THE FOES
• Nina Fernandez made three saves for the Cardinals.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the 11th minute, Alyssa Johnston (West River, Md./Southern) sent a corner kick to the back post that Maddie Schwartz headed home for a 1-0 lead.
• The lead stood until Hannah Schepers snuck a ball just inside the far post in the 53rd minute to double the lead.
• In the 65th minute, Maddie Schwartz found Schepers at the top of the box. The freshman dribbled across and fired top shelf.
• Schepers finished her three-goal day on a ball that deflected to her in the 70th minute

THE INSIDE STORY
• McDaniel held advantages of 12-9 in shots and 5-3 in corner kicks.
• It was Hannah Schepers' third hat trick of her freshman season. She is the fourth player in conference history with at least three hat tricks in a single season.
• Schepers leads the conference with 11 goals.
