LATROBE, Pa. – McDaniel scored three second-half goals to take a 3-1 victory over St. Vincent in non-conference men's soccer action on Saturday.

Raul Escobar (Silver Spring, Md./Blake) scored twice for the Green Terror (2-0), who outshot its hosts 20-6 on the day.

Josh Kucmeroski converted a penalty kick for the Bearcats (1-1) in the 86th minute breakup the shutout.

Drake Pew (York, Pa./Dallastown Area) knocked home a Nick Bowman (York, Pa./York Suburban) blocked shot to get McDaniel on the board first at the 52:30 mark.

Nearly nine minutes later, Bowman found Escobar to double the advantage.

In the 82nd minute, Escobar blasted a shot from outside the box to stretch the lead to 3-0 and his first multiple-goal game.

Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) made three stops for the Green Terror in goal.

McDaniel returns to action in the home opener on Wednesday against Gallaudet. Game time is 4 p.m.
