Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel tallied a pair of first-half goals to defeat Frostburg 2-0 in non-conference women's soccer action on Wednesday.
Katie Kirschenmann (Damascus, Md./Damascus) led the Green Terror (4-1) with a goal in the first seven minutes of the contest.
Jenny Bullers led the Bobcats (1-4) with a pair of saves in goal.
On a ball centered by Paola Rosa (Laurel, Md./Reservoir), Kirschenmann fired a shot that was blocked right back to her feet before she ripped a second shot into the lower-left corner for a 1-0 lead just 6:43 into the game.
Annalise Bell (Highlands Rach, Colo./Rock Canyon) played a give-and-go with Kaylee Holliger (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) before rocketing a shot into the upper-left corner from the top-right corner of the box to double the advantage and give the freshman her first collegiate goal at the 42:50 mark.
Sarah McDonald (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) backstopped the defense for a fourth straight shutout, making three saves.
McDaniel finished with a 15-9 advantage in shots, including a 12-6 advantage in the decisive first half.
The Green Terror returns to action in the Centennial Conference opener at Ursinus on Saturday. Game time is 4 p.m.
