Trailing 45-34, McWilliams drained one of his seven 3-pointers with 13:03 showing to start the rally.

A Nick Perugino (Lewes, Del./Salesianum) steal-and-layup drimmed the deficit to six.

After a single JeanLee Baez free throw made it a 46-39 game, James McGovern (Glenside, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) hit a 3-pointer and a layup 26 seconds apart to make it a two-point game, scoring the first five of his career-best 15 points.

Three Muhlenberg free throws gave the visitors a 49-47 edge before McGovern hit another trey, giving his team the lead for good with 7:40 remaining.

After 3-pointers from McWilliams and McGovern on back-to-back possessions gave the hosts a 58-51 lead, Nigel Long responded with a trey of his own.

McWilliams had the answer once again, sparking a 15-2 run to clinch the victory.

McDaniel jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the game capped by a Perugino 3-pointer – the first of 11 on the afternoon for the hosts.

The Mules, however, responded with 12 of the next 13 points to take a 12-10 advantage with 12:24 on the clock.

A Yrizarry layup with 7:50 remaining in the first half snapped a 9-minute, 16-second drought from the floor and closed the deficit to 16-13.

Muhlenberg gradually expanded the lead to 34-23 at halftime and built a lead as large as 13 before three minutes elapsed in the second half.
