Randall Hilleary (Bonney Lake, Wash./Skyline) led the Green Terror (8-3-2) with a pair of goals.
Luis Cevallos scored for the Phoenix (5-6-1), breaking up the shutout in the 78th minute.
After a first half in which both teams took seven shots but neither could find the back of the net, Nick Bowman (York, Pa./York Suburban) broke through just 2:24 into the second half, dribbling through the defense and finishing for a 1-0 lead.
Hilleary converted a penalty kick nearly three minutes later before an own goal at the 70:07 mark made it a 3-0 lead.
Jacob Wells (Hanover, Pa./South Western) stretched the lead to 4-0 in the 76th minute before Cevallos put back a rebound at the 77:14 mark.
Hilleary headed in a Khaled Abuhantash (Forest Hill, Md./North Harford) cross from the left side to set the final margin just 90 seconds later.
McDaniel finished with a 17-14 edge in shots while Wilson had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) made four saves in the first 75 minutes before Aaron Bilbie (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) had a pair of saves in the final 15 minutes.
The Green Terror returns to action at Johns Hopkins on Wednesday. Game time is 7 p.m.
