Halle Burgess (Ashton, Md./Good Counsel) led the Green Terror (5-6, 3-3 CC) with 12 points, hitting four triples. Jasmine Smith (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) was the only other McDaniel player in double figures, netting 10.
Halena Martin paced the Owls (1-10, 0-8 CC) with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Burgess hit a pair of 3-pointers as part of the 9-0 run over the game's first 5:05.
Martin and Odinaka Oranekwu hit Bryn Mawr's first two field goals to close the deficit to 9-5 a minute later en route to a 12-6 game at the end of the first quarter.
Triples from Smith and Burgess keyed a 10-0 start to the second period, extended the advantage to 22-6 with 6:16 to play in the quarter en route to a 26-11 lead at the intermission.
A Smith layup at the end of the third quarter stretched the lead to 20 for the first time, giving the hosts a 38-17 lead entering the final period.
The advantage grew as large as 28 on three occasions – the first coming on two Libby Dougherty (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) free throws with 3:49 to play.
Emily Metzger (Shamong, N.J./Seneca) established a career high with seven points, hitting all three of her field-goal attempts.
The Green Terror returns to action at Swarthmore on Tuesday. Game time is 6 p.m.
