Josh Linsmeier scored the lone goal for the Lions (1-3), answering an early McDaniel tally.
After Matt Mackenzie (Crofton, Md./Arundel) sent a ball across the front of the box, Raul Escobar (Silver Spring, Md./Blake) finished from the right side for his first collegiate marker just 2:17 into the game.

Valdez broke the deadlock in the 12th minute, firing a shot from the right side for a 2-1 edge.
Escobar then found Kerry Shutt's (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) head on a corner kick for a 3-1 advantage in the 55th minute.
Valdez made it a two-goal day, finishing from Micahel Thompson (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) at the 62:00 mark.
