WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two second-half goals propelled McDaniel to a 2-0 victory over Gallaudet in non-conference men's soccer action on Friday.

Billy Rodgers (Hopewell, N.J./Montgomery) tallied his first collegiate goal to lead the Green Terror (1-1), who finished with a 24-9 advantage in shots.

Noah Means-Simonsen led the Bison (0-1) in goal with six saves.

An own goal when Gallaudet headed the ball into the net staked McDaniel to a 1-0 lead in the 65th minute.

Greysen Brockbank (Newville, Pa./Big Spring) sent a cross from the left side in the 77th minute that Rodgers was able to bury into an open net for a 2-0 advantage.

Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) made two saves for his first shutout of the season.

McDaniel returns to action at home against Albright on Tuesday. Game time is 4 p.m.
