DANBURY, Conn. – McDaniel will host Waynesburg for the first round of the 2016 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) South women's basketball tournament on Wednesday. Game time is 7 p.m.

The Green Terror (21-6) earned the No. 2 seed and will host the seventh-seeded Yellow Jackets (14-13) in the quarterfinals of the eight-team tournament. McDaniel is making its third straight postseason appearance and second ECAC berth.

The winner of Wednesday's game will meet the winner of the matchup between No. 3 Stevenson (14-10) and No. 6 Neumann (17-11) in one of Saturday's semifinals. The other semifinal will pit the winners of No. 1 Washington & Jefferson (22-5) and No. 8 Penn State-Behrend (15-11) and No. 4 Marywood (18-8) and No. 5 Delaware Valley (131-3). Matchups will take place at the site of the highest remaining seed.

The championship game will take place between the two semifinal winners on Sunday.

McDaniel earns the postseason berth after reaching the Centennial Conference (CC) final for the second straight year.

Lindsey Nichols (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) leads the Green Terror and CC in scoring (19.6 ppg) and has hit a team-best 77 3-pointers. She also has a team-high 77 steals to go with 40 assists.

Karli Zeps (Reisterstown, Md./Seton Keough) leads the team in rebounding (6.4 rpg) and ranks second on the team in scoring (11.7 ppg). She is also second on the team with 61 steals.

Brittney Davis (Laurel, Md./St. Vinent Pallotti) has a team-best 130 assists and has nabbed 37 steals. She is also third on the team in scoring (9.3 ppg).

Sarah Bach (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) is second on the team in rebounding (6.1 rpg).
