Pat Palin (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) scored his first collegiate goal for the Green Terror (2-4-2, 0-1-1 CC) to stake the hosts to a first-half lead.
Brian Wilkinson converted the game-winner for the Shoremen (4-5-1, 2-1-1 CC), blasting home a shot from just outside the top of the box on a restart.
Palin staked McDaniel to a 1-0 lead just 15:44 into the game – one of just three first-half shots for the hosts.
Michael Holowesko found the back of the net for the equalizer in the 69th minute before Wilkinson's game-winner.
Washington finished with a 23-4 advantage in shots, including 14-1 in the second half.
Nick Over (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) made 10 saves in goal for the Green Terror.
McDaniel returns to action at Dickinson on Monday. Game time is 6 p.m.
