Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – McDaniel used a 27-25 third set to cap a sweep of Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.) before needing a fifth set with RIT to complete a 2-0 first day at the Battlefield Classic hosted by Gettysburg in non-conference volleyball action on Friday.

Lexi Corral (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) and Caroline Savin (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) each notched seven kills to lead the Green Terror (3-0) in the opener while Teryn Rath (Grass Valley, Calif./Bear River) killed all four of her attack attempts.

McDaniel won the first two sets against the Knights (0-2), including the first set by a 25-8 margin. Behind 15 straight service points from Genna Weger (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock), the Green Terror cruised in the second set, 25-4.

Weger added nine digs to her six service aces while Jenna Hostetler (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) chipped in six digs.
